เป็นเวลาเกือบ 15 ปีแล้ว ที่ราคามาตรฐานของเกม จอดนิ่งอยู่ที่ 59.99$ เพียงแต่แต่ละค่ายเกมจะมีการผลิต Edition ที่แตกต่างกัน เพิ่มราคาที่ต่างกันเข้าไป (Deluxe, Ultimate Edition)

แต่ตอนนี้ทาง Activision ได้ยืนยันเป็นเจ้าแรกด้วยตัวเองว่า นับตั้งแต่ยุคของ PS5 / XBOX Series X เป็นต้นไป ตัวเกม Standard Edition ในเครือของพวกเขาจะมีราคาเริ่มต้นที่ 69.99$ หรือเพิ่มขึ้นมาจำนวน 10$ (300 บาท)

สำหรับคนที่เล่นบน PC ก็ตัดปัญหานี้ทิ้งไปได้ แต่ถ้าจะซื้อเกมนี้บนคอนโซล ต้องเลือกเวอร์ชั่น Cross-Gen เพื่อที่จะได้เล่นบนเครื่องรุ่นต่อไปได้ด้วย

เชื่อว่าอีกไม่นาน ทางค่ายเกมต่าง ๆ ก็จะออกมาประกาศเช่นกันถ้ามีการปรับขึ้นราคา ซึ่งเราต้องรอดูกันต่อไป ว่าจะมีค่ายใดประกาศขึ้นราคา และคงราคาไว้เท่าเดิมกันบ้าง

Even though Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is now open for reservation and its price is still at 59.99 $ for PC version. On PS4 there is a Cross-Gen Bundle to pay 10 $ more for it. Upgrade the game to play on the next console.

It's been almost 15 years since the standard price of games has been parked at 59.99 $. Each game camp has different Edition production, adding different prices (Deluxe, Ultimate Edition).
